Location
Pollonia is a small, picturesque fishing-village which is built on the north-eastern side of the island. Caiques depart from the small port offering daily trips around Milos and the nearby islands, Kimolos and Polyegos. Pollonia is an ideal place for a quiet holiday, enabling guests to enjoy hiking, running or riding a bike.
Our rooms are only 50m away from the sea. They are built in a peaceful area, only 5 minutes by foot from the centre of Pollonia, where you can find many nice traditional restaurants, a mini market, a baker’s shop and souvenir shops as well. The beach of Pollonia is only 150m away. The rich sandy beach and the crystal clear water can guarantee you a great time.
You can go around the island by bus – there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk from Villa Sosanna.
You can also get a taxi or rent a car. Access to different parts of the island by car is not difficult and the roads are in a good condition. Pollonia is the ideal place from where you can start exploring all the beaches in the north of the island (Papafraga’s cave, Sarakiniko, Ag. Konstantino, Mitaka, Pahena, Firopotamo, Plathiena). Moreover, Pollonia is only 18 km away from the beaches in the south part.
